SIAM NIRAMIT SHOW BANGKOK

Siam Niramit - World Class Spectacular Performance, Bangkok,Thailand

My recent trip in Bangkok, was quite short, but I make sure that I manage and maximize my time properly. Before my trip, I'm already communicating with my tour guide "Ms. Vee" via email. She insisted to include the Siam Niramit Show on my tour package. Before I confirmed I searched and read reviews about the show.

SHOW PREVIEW:

Billed as one of the largest stage productions in the world, Siam Niramit unfailingly brings back the glorious past of Thailand through its impressive facilities and professionally produced performance. Learn how Thai people used to live in different parts of the country at the highly-detailed recreated Thai Village, delight in a Thai and international buffet dinner (optional) before experiencing the magic of the spectacular Siam Niramit show. Thai crafts and a wide range of souvenirs from the show are also on sale.

 SHOW HIGHLIGHT:

Siam Niramit combines an authentic Thai buffet with a world-class stage show depicting Thailand's historical and spiritual heritage. With over 150 dazzling performers and state-of-the-art special effects, it’s a captivating journey. The first act describes how Siam became a cross-roads where civilisations met, the second how karma binds Thai people, and the final act shows how religious ceremony earns Thai people merit in this life. In addition to the show, you can visit replica villages from the country's rural regions and buy Thai handicrafts.

Travel back in time to the early history and culture of the Kingdom of Siam. You will be amazed and captivated by this two-hour long journey, which delves into over 700 years of Thai history in three stage acts, including the ancient civilisations, spiritual discovery and Thai festivals.

Dazzling Spectacle on the Word's Highest Stage

Held in the colossal 2,000-seat Ratchada Theatre, the Siam Niramit show boasts an 11.95 metre proscenium - certified by Guinness World of Records as the world's highest stage. SIAM NIRAMIT EXPERIENCE

Driver picked me up early as 5:00 PM. I was actually surprise why that early when the show will be starting by 8:00 PM. Then he explained that I was the first one fetched and we need to pick up some other tourists within the city and also to maximize time for traffic. So it's around 5:30 PM when we were completed. I am with 3 Malaysian Girls, 1 Indian, and 2 other foreigners.

With the Thai Ladies

We arrived into the place before 6:00 PM (good thing traffic was not that heavy). We were welcomed by Thai ladies with great their traditional costumes.

There's more to experience within the village while waiting for the show. Before we took our buffet dinner, we walk and explore around.

The Show

Siam Niramit really demonstrate Thai culture. Before the actual show started, royal anthem was played which ended showing the pledge of the King.
“I pledge that I will reign with righteousness for the benefits and happiness of the people of Siam”

First part of the show demonstrates SIAM history and regions (Siam is Thailand's old name). I was really amazed how artistic they presented each scenes. Costumes were really colorful and detailed reflecting their culture and traditions. I remembered my good friend "Rap" - as he appreciate a lot of cultural shows and he also sometimes perform. Here you will understand the love and respect that the monarchy enjoys among Thai people and t he reverence of  a their King.

The show is very much interesting and informative. Production is great and impeccable. You will feel the show with it's good sound. Casts includes animals like hens, goats and elephants. And I can say that they were trained well as they played their roles perfectly.

The second act showed heaven and hell. Here you will be more amazed on the effects, lightnings and the transitions of the stage on every act. They emphasize more on hell. The act was kinda realistic. They had shown drinking alcohol as a sin and people getting punished for it. They show how people being punished when dragged into hell. In the opposite, they also showed how peaceful and calm life in the heaven.

I really enjoyed the show. It was fantastic! I would highly recommend Siam Niramit Show, if you are visiting in Bangkok. Hmm..cameras are not allowed but you can buy CD and souvenir after the show.  Mobile phones were permitted though, but don't dare to take some photos on the show as security is very strict.
