STO. NIÑO COLD SPRING, CAMIGUIN
Sto.Nino Cold Spring |
When you will have your Camiguin trip, don't forget to include Sto. Nino Cold Spring on your itinerary.
The resort looks simple and quiet. It's not like other resorts which are concrete and well furnished. It measures 25 by 40 meters with a cold spring sprouting from the sandy bottom. The sides of the pool is simply cemented but the ground is pure soil, which make it looks so natural and refreshing. The water is really cold. It's perfect to have your swimming starting 10:00 in the morning, so it will be slightly hot and it will balance to the very cold temperature of the water when you swim. Entrance is as affordable as 40 PHP.

Look how clear is the water!!! |
Time to swim!!! |
People in Sto. Nino Cold
Spring were so accommodating and friendly. Good thing i know how to
speak "BISAYA" or "CEBUANO" , dialects that were also spoken in
Camiguin.
The resort offers
us to cook some foods for a very affordable price. We had "TINOLANG
ISDA" - fresh lapu-lapu fish with native onion and ginger. I really love
"TINOLANG ISDA" as my grand mother use to cook this perfectly every
time I am in Bohol. We also had Grilled Fish, everything fish as sea
foods here are really fresh. Then some buko juice, it was indeed a
perfect lunch.
Lunch!!! |
Of course, some sweet and yummy BUKO! |
We left there around 1:30 PM. I bought some shirt and bracelets for my souvenir.
